We’re thrilled to announce our new live Power BI foundations course, Power BI at Work! Whether you’re brand new to Power BI or looking to level-up in a fun group setting, our course gives you confidence to hit the ground running. Mark and I are both long time Power BI nerds who enjoy equipping others to use Power BI effectively in their day job; whether a full time analyst/developer or someone who has data or reporting tasks as a part of the day to day job responsibility. Our approach is to take the best practices, tips, and learnings we’ve acquired from giants in the field combined with our day in and day out experience in the tool, combine the two and offer that to our students. A “by data nerd practitioners for data nerd practitioners” kind of approach.
The training consists of eight virtual sessions on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30pm central time, across four weeks. We’ll cover everything from wrangling data, modeling that data in a star schema, writing DAX measures, and presenting the data in a clear and clear format.
